The Challenge

Event Control and Radio Hire for two major public annual events: Southport Air Show and British Musical Fireworks Championship.

Action

Controlled Events organised and managed up to 100 handheld radios per event. The brief was subsequently expanded to include ECR Manager Log and Event Control Management, coordinating with a range of partner agencies and stakeholders. Key services included:

Radio communications equipment provision
ECR Manager incident logging
Event Control Management

The Results

Controlled Events have provided a better quality of radio, one point of contact for the event (event control), and importantly using the ECR Manager Log which has been a reliable evidence source for insurance claims on some events.
